Sad, isn't it, that it has taken another round of the Blogger's Quilt Festival to inspire me to post again? In my own defense, I have been very busy having (and nursing) a new baby and moving house. Before all the baby and moving excitement, I did have time to finish this little quilt for Project Linus. I used the Apple Core pattern from WonderArc Designs to do this, which meant lots of circles (but no crazy apple core shapes to cut out or sew). It's not the most beautiful quilt because some of the details of the technique still escape me...but I hope some little girl will like it!
Here's the front. I primarily used fabrics someone donated to our local Project Linus chapter (along with a few from my stash so it would be big enough).
And this is the back. It's flannel that a friend who knows I make Linus quilts gave me to do something creative with.
Enjoy the festival! I'll try really hard to get some more quilts made and blog posts up before the next one rolls around!
